This project(Final Year Project) proposes the use of multiple map layers to recreate the actual environtment of Bandar Hilir historical site using ARCore technology and its call "Melaka Through Time". Tourists often struggle to visualize the past, this AR mobile app is to experience Melaka's rich history. The app aims to deliver an interactive experience by allowing users to explore Melaka's historical layers through a multi layered view showcasing three eras (Malacca Sultanate era, Dutch era, Current era) with a 3D visualizations of historical artifacts, and gain historical knowledge. This project targets tourists and history enthusiasts visiting the city. The app aims to provide an interactive experience, fostering deeper understanding and retention of Melaka's rich history. The project also focuses on developing this AR app with these functionalities. Including the creation of 3D models, and integration of AR features.
